Zusammenfassung

Sehr häufig stellen sich Patienten mit Leistenschmerzen zum Ausschluss einer Leistenhernie vor. Bei einer objektivierbaren Vorwölbung besteht die Indikation zur operativen Behandlung einer Leistenhernie. Bei Patienten mit Leistenschmerzen ohne objektivierbare Hernienvorwölbung ist die diagnostische und therapeutische Strategie sehr variabel und manchmal schwierig.
