Leitlinienreport der zweiten Aktualisierung der S3-Leitlinie „Langzeitanwendung von Opioiden bei nicht-tumorbedingten Schmerzen – LONTS“

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die Aktualisierung der S3-Leitlinie „Langzeitanwendung von Opioiden bei nicht-tumorbedingten Schmerzen – LONTS“ (AWMF-Registernummer 145/003) war aufgrund des Ablaufs ihrer Gültigkeit für Februar 2020 geplant.

Methodik

Die Leitlinie wurde unter Koordination der Deutschen Schmerzgesellschaft und der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Wissenschaftlichen Medizinischen Fachgesellschaften (AWMF) von 28 wissenschaftlichen Fachgesellschaften und zwei Patientenselbsthilfeorganisationen aktualisiert.

Ergebnisse

Die Literaturrecherche erfolgte über die Datenbanken CENTRAL, MEDLINE und Scopus (Oktober 2013 bis Dezember 2018). Die Metaanalysen von randomisierten, kontrollierten Studien mit opioidhaltigen Analgetika bei nicht-tumorbedingten chronischen Schmerzsyndromen mit einer Dauer ≥4 Wochen wurden aktualisiert. Die Graduierung der Evidenzstärke erfolgte nach dem Schema des Oxford Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, Version 2009. Die Formulierung und Graduierung der Empfehlungen erfolgte in einem mehrstufigen, formalisierten Konsensusverfahren nach dem AWMF-Regelwerk. Die Leitlinie wurde von vier externen Experten, die nicht an der Leitlinienentwicklung beteiligt waren, begutachtet. Es erfolgte eine öffentliche Kommentierungsphase. Die Leitlinie wurde von den Vorständen der beteiligten Fachgesellschaften genehmigt.

Schlussfolgerung

Die Leitlinie wird als Lang‑, Kurz‑, Kitteltaschen- und Patientenversion veröffentlicht.
