Die Zahl der HPV-assoziierten Oropharynxkarzinome steigt weltweit. Und auch die Berichterstattung in den Medien mit einem Bezug auf die sexuelle Übertragbarkeit von HPV nimmt zu. Das führt oft zu Verunsicherung bei Patienten. Daher ist es wichtig, die potenziellen Risikofaktoren und die Zahlen zum Erkrankungsrisiko zu kennen. So können Sie alle Fragen kompetent einordnen und beantworten.
