Resektive Parodontalchirurgie

Zusammenfassung

Die ursachenbezogene antiinfektiöse Parodontaltherapie beinhaltet ergänzende chirurgische Verfahren. Im Vergleich zu regenerativen und konservativen Vorgehensweisen erreicht die resektive Parodontalchirurgie effektiv die Reduktion pathologischer Sondierungstiefen, geht in der Regel jedoch mit zusätzlichem Attachmentverlust in benachbarten, minder schwer betroffenen Bereichen einher und macht häufig ein interdisziplinäres Vorgehen notwendig. Konservative Behandlungsvarianten erzielen langfristig ähnliche Erfolge hinsichtlich Attachmentniveau und Zahnerhalt, können tiefe Furkationsbefunde jedoch nur bedingt beeinflussen. Diese plaqueretentiven Nischen können durch verschiedene chirurgische Techniken eliminiert oder der Mundhygiene zugänglich gemacht werden, was sich positiv auf die Pfeilerwertigkeit betroffener Molaren auswirkt. Der nachfolgende Artikel stellt die Indikation sowie verschiedene Techniken der resektiven Parodontalchirurgie vor. Richtlinien der klinischen Entscheidungsfindung werden evidenzbasiert diskutiert.
