Zusammenfassung

Die Thrombose zerebraler und duraler Hirnvenen kann durch die Erhöhung des intrakraniellen Druckes zu lebensbedrohlichen Zuständen führen. Eine rechtzeitige Diagnosestellung und Einleitung einer Therapie ist daher von größter Wichtigkeit. Auch die idiopathische intrakranielle Drucksteigerung geht mit einer Erhöhung des intrakraniellen Druckes einher. Die Diagnose ist eine Ausschlussdiagnose. Bei Patientinnen in Schwangerschaft und Wochenbett sind neurologisch-intensivmedizinische Komplikationen grundsätzlich selten. Da sie aber oft schwerwiegend sind und Schwangere sowie ungeborenes oder neugeborenes Kind gleichzeitig gefährden, haben sie eine große Bedeutung. Das gleichzeitige Betroffensein zweier Menschen bei einer Erkrankung macht die neurologisch-intensivmedizinische Behandlung Schwangerer zu einer besonderen Angelegenheit.
