Abstract
Soft tissue myxomas are extremely rare, slowly growing, locally infiltrative, benign, connective tissue tumors that occur in all age groups with a peak in the fourth decade of life. In the maxillofacial region soft tissue myxomas have been found in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, fascia, parotid glands, larynx, tonsils and ears. An intraoral location of myxoma is very rare. This article presents a case report of a rare soft tissue myxoma arising in the cheek of a 44-year-old female patient.
