Stellenwert der allogenen Stammzelltransplantation bei AML

Auszug

Trotz Verbesserung der Ergebnisse nach alloSCT über die letzten Jahre bleibt die Toxizität der Fremdspendertransplantation höher als die nach Chemotherapie bzw. autologer SCT. Der Graft-versus-Leukämie-Effekt führt allerdings auch zu einer deutlich geringeren Rezidivrate, insbesondere bei Hochrisiko-Patient*innen. Verbessert durch eine molekulare Therapiesteuerung stellt die alloSCT eine kurative Behandlungsoption für Hochrisikoerkrankte dar, die durch Einsatz von neuen Medikamenten weiter verfeinert werden kann.

Die Wirksamkeit von Cannabisprodukten ist in einigen medizinischen Indikationen gesichert. Aber längst nicht alle Effekte, die Cannabis zugesprochen werden, lassen sich in Studien nachvollziehen. In der randomisierten, placebokontrollierten Studie MedCan-1 wurde der antiinflammatorische Effekt von Cannabidiol genauer unter die Lupe genommen.

Die sonografisch geführte Vakuumbiopsie ist zur Entnahme von größeren Gewebeproben aus der Brust geeignet. Ein bedeutender Vorteil der minimal-invasiven Methode ist der therapeutische Ansatz – zukünftig möglicherweise sogar bei kleinen Mammakarzinomen.
