Rebound intracranial hypertension (RIH) is a complication of epidural blood patch (EBP) procedures used to treat CSF leaks in patients presenting with low pressure headaches and typically presents hours to weeks post procedure. Given the heterogeneous clinical presentation of intracranial hypotension [1], RIH may be mistaken for treatment-refractory low pressure headaches [2]. In the present case, a patient with Marfan syndrome presented with features of raised intracranial pressure outside the typical window for RIH, 11 months after a targeted EBP initially used to successfully treat spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH), in the absence of any other clear precipitant for raised intracranial pressure. …
