Ulcus duodeni, Ulcus ventriculi und Helicobacter pylori

Zusammenfassung

Die Mortalität der Ulkuskrankheit ist bei Patienten im Alter über 80 Jahren im Fall von Komplikationen, wie Blutungen oder Perforationen, höher als bei der Gesamtbevölkerung. Mit einer Helicobacter-pylori-Infektion sind 90 % der Ulcera duodeni (UD) und 70 % der Ulcera ventriculi (UV) assoziiert. Die Behandlung älterer Patienten ist durch die oftmals begleitende Multimorbidität und Polypharmazie schwierig und bedarf einer geriatrischen Komplexbehandlung. Ulzera treten unter der Einnahme von nichtsteroidalen Antirheumatika (NSAR) oder Acetylsalicylsäure (ASS) häufig auf. Obschon Therapiefortschritte Prävalenz und Prognose der Erkrankung verbessert haben, stellt die Behandlung älterer Patienten mit einer Ulkuskrankheit (Ulcus duodeni und Ulcus ventriculi) eine Herausforderung dar.
