Zusammenfassung

Auch wenn konservative, nicht chirurgische Therapien wie perkutane oder endosonografisch gesteuerte Nervenblockaden zur Schmerzlinderung oder endoskopische Verfahren zur Dekomprimierung des Pankreasgangs eingesetzt werden [1], stellt die Chirurgie eine wichtige Therapiesäule der chronischen Pankreatitis dar, die nachhaltige Vorteile gegenüber konservativen Verfahren hat.
