Pride and trepidation at stepping into a new role
It is with considerable pride, and no small degree of trepidation, that I write my first editorial for Nurse Researcher. Under the stewardship of previous editors, this journal has become a key resource for those undertaking research. Alongside the editorial team, I hope to continue the development of the journal, which will retain its primary purpose: to inform and advise all those involved in health and social care research of matters relating to methodology.
