Dreijahresverlauf nach erfolgreicher Therapie schwerstgradiger Anorexia nervosa

Zusammenfassung

Anorexia nervosa ist eine häufige psychische Erkrankung im Jugend- und jungen Erwachsenenalter und ist oft mit einem chronischen Verlauf und einer hohen Rate an psychischen Komorbiditäten assoziiert. Nach wie vor ist Anorexia nervosa die psychische Erkrankung mit der höchsten Mortalität. Der vorliegende Fall beschreibt eine Patientin mit extrem ausgeprägter und chronifizierter Anorexia nervosa, die nach einer sehr konsequenten stationären Behandlung remittierte und im 3‑Jahres-Verlauf als geheilt gelten kann. Eine 21-jährige, seit sieben Jahren erkrankte Patientin wurde kurz nach Erreichen eines Minimalgewichts von 25 kg bei 171 cm Körpergröße (BMI 8,5 kg/m2) auf eine internistische Intensivstation aufgenommen und nach Stabilisierung und Erreichen eines BMI von 10,0 kg/m2 in eine Spezialklinik zur Behandlung von Essstörungen überwiesen. Es kam zu einer Remission mit Erreichen von Normalgewicht bei regelmäßigen Verlaufskontrollen (BMI 20,0 kg/m2) und der Normalisierung der Essstörungspathologie. Ein 3‑Jahres-Follow-up zeigt jetzt anhaltende Remission sämtlicher, im Rahmen der Erkrankung extrem ausgeprägten Symptome.
