Dysphagie bei neurodegenerativen Parkinson-Syndromen

Die meisten Patientinnen und Patienten mit neurodegenerativen Parkinson-Syndromen entwickeln im Verlauf ihrer Erkrankung eine Parkinson-bedingte Dysphagie, die häufig schon früh im Erkrankungsverlauf in milderer Form auftritt und aus der im Verlauf schwerwiegende Folgen bis lebensbedrohliche Aspirationspneumonien resultieren können. Alle Ausprägungen erfordern eine sorgfältige Evaluation des zugrunde liegenden Störungsmusters sowie eine individuell angepasste medikamentöse und nicht medikamentöse Therapie.
