Patient Blood Management in der Geburtsvorbereitung, Geburtshilfe und postpartalen Phase

Zusammenfassung

Die Implementierung eines Patient Blood Management (PBM) wird zunehmender Standard in der operativen Medizin. Seit einiger Zeit gilt das Interesse auch den vulnerablen Kollektiven der Schwangeren und Neugeborenen. Da die anästhesiologische Aufklärung der Schwangeren schon weit vor der Entbindung stattfinden soll, bietet sich in diesem Zusammenhang eine gute Möglichkeit, das PBM einzubinden. Bereits während der Schwangerschaft sollten eine anästhesiologische Risikoeinschätzung sowie die Abklärung und Therapie einer potenziellen Anämie erfolgen. Des Weiteren sollen Blutverluste in Antizipation von Blutungskomplikationen durch interdisziplinäre Präventivmaßnahmen reduziert und eine individuell abgestimmte postpartale Betreuung organisiert werden. Daraus resultiert analog zur Schwangerschaft auch postpartal die frühzeitige Erkennung einer Anämie oder eines Eisenmangels mit resultierender Therapiemöglichkeit.
