3. Elektronische Alarmsysteme für Akute Nierenschädigung – Erfahrungen aus United Kingdom (UK)

Zusammenfassung

Die akute Nierenschädigung und ihre Versorgung ist ein für Patienten und Gesundheitsdienstleister sehr relevantes Problem. Der Mangel an spezifischen Therapien verbunden mit einem variierenden Versorgungsstandard zeigt, dass Strategien zur Verbesserung der derzeitigen Versorgungssituation sich auf eine systematische Aufarbeitung allgemeiner Behandlungsempfehlungen konzentrieren sollten. Dazu zählen Früherkennung, adäquate Therapie (Flüssigkeitsmanagement, Medikations-Check) und entsprechende (Weiter-)Behandlung bzw. ambulante Betreuung. Alarmsysteme können hierbei eine wichtige Funktion übernehmen. Bei nachweislich oft verspäteter Diagnosestellung der akuten Nierenschädigung und dem diesbezüglich gezeigten Nutzen von Frühwarnsystemen liegt die Herausforderung jetzt darin, die Voraussetzungen für eine weite Akzeptanz elektronischer Alarmsysteme zu schaffen und diese flächendeckend und nachhaltig zu etablieren.
