Dextropropoxyphen ist oral wirksam und wird als First-Pass-Effekt einer N-Demethylierung unterworfen.
Halbwertszeit
10–30 Stunden (Plasma).
Funktion – Pathophysiologie
Bei schweren Intoxikationen treten Herzinsuffizienz, respiratorische Insuffizienz und Bewusstlosigkeit auf.
Untersuchungsmaterial – Entnahmebedingungen
Urin, Plasma (P), Serum (S).
Indikation
Verdacht auf Missbrauch, Therapeutisches Drug Monitoring.
Interpretation
Therapeutischer Bereich (S, P): 0,05–0,3 mg/L; toxisch: >0,6 mg/L; komatös-letal: >1 mg/L.
