Zusammenfassung

Benigne Gallengangstenosen entstehen häufig postoperativ oder durch entzündliche Erkrankungen wie chronische Pankreatitis oder primär sklerosierende Cholangitis (PSC). Die meisten Stenosen lassen sich durch endoskopische Interventionen, wie Dilatation oder Stenting, gut behandeln. Bei postoperativen Stenosen beträgt die Langzeiterfolgsrate über 80–90 % nach Multistenting oder Metallstenteinlage. Die Ergebnisse sind bei Stenosen durch chronische Pankreatitis deutlich schlechter, mit Metallstents können aber auch hier bis zu 70 % der Stenosen erfolgreich behandelt werden. Bei kalzifizierender Pankreatitis ist die endoskopische Therapie schwieriger. Hier ist die primäre Operation eine gute Alternative.
