Störungen der Pubertätsentwicklung sicher erkennen

Zusammenfassung

Weicht ein Mädchen in seiner Pubertätsentwicklung von der Peergroup ab, so kann dies zu erheblichem Leidensdruck führen. Nicht jede wahrgenommene Abweichung ist jedoch objektivierbar und nicht jede objektivierbare pathologisch. Neben Normvarianten können einer Pubertätstempostörung verschiedene, ganz unterschiedliche Erkrankungen zugrunde liegen. Die Ursachen reichen von „idiopathischen“ Störungen über endokrinologische, immunologische und genetische Erkrankungen, Tumoren bis hin zu psychosomatischen und psychiatrischen Krankheitsbildern. Im Beitrag wird die Abgrenzung einer möglichen Pathologie gegen die – sehr viel häufigeren – Normvarianten erläutert und die Differenzialdiagnosen der wichtigsten abklärungsbedürftigen, therapiepflichtigen Krankheitsbilder dargestellt.
