Therapie des akuten epileptischen Anfalls beim Kind im Notfall

Zusammenfassung

Epileptische Anfälle gehören präklinisch zu den häufigsten Notfällen in der Pädiatrie. Meist enden sie spontan; eine akute Medikamentengabe ist dann nicht notwendig. Dauert ein epileptischer Anfall über mehrere Minuten an, steigt das Risiko eines Status epilepticus. Um diesen zu verhindern, ist die unverzügliche antikonvulsive Behandlung notwendig. Die Grundsätze dieser Behandlung und die Möglichkeiten der Applikationsformen von Medikamenten im Kindesalter werden im vorliegenden Beitrag vorgestellt.
