Tezepelumab wirkt schnell und anhaltend bei CRScNP

Tezepelumab ist ein humaner monoklonaler Antikörper gegen das Zytokin „thymic stromal lymphopoietin“ (TSLP), der bislang vorrangig zur Behandlung von schwerem Asthma bronchiale eingesetzt wurde. Nun hat sich seine Wirksamkeit auch bei schwerer chronischer Rhinosinusitis mit Nasenpolypen (CRScNP) eindrucksvoll bestätigt.

Besteht eine Verbindung zwischen Schilddrüsenerkrankungen und Morbus Menière?

Eine aktuelle Metaanalyse zeigt einen klaren Zusammenhang zwischen Morbus Menière und Schilddrüsenerkrankungen. Bemerkenswert ist: In vielen Fällen verbesserten sich die Symptome der Menière-Krankheit nach erfolgreicher Behandlung der Schilddrüse.
