Acquired myasthenia gravis (MG) is a heterogeneous autoimmune disease mediated by autoantibodies, such as anti-acetylcholine receptor (AchR) or anti-muscle specific kinase (MuSK) antibodies that interfere with the function of the neuromuscular junction. Systemic illness, surgery, fever, pregnancy, emotional stress and various drugs are well-known factors that may exacerbate myasthenic symptoms [1]. …
