The authors present a rare hardware-related complication with zero-profile anchored cages in a 52-year-old male patient who had received a two-level ACDF surgery [
1]. They report the first case of a vertebral body fracture between the blades of zero-profile anchored cages after ACDFs in adjacent levels.
