Neurologische Nebenwirkungen der COVID-19-Impfung

Auszug

Nach einer Impfung gegen COVID-19 kann es in extrem seltenen Fällen zu neurologischen Komplikationen kommen. Ein ursächlicher Zusammenhang ist belegt zwischen der Anwendung von Vektorimpfstoffen und der Auslösung einer immuninduzierten thrombotischen Thrombozytopenie mit Sinus- und Hirnvenenthrombosen. Weitere mögliche neurologische Komplikationen nach COVID-19-Impfung mit Vektorimpfstoffen sind ischämische Hirninfarkte und Hirnblutungen, das Guillain-Barré-Syndrom, Fazialisparesen und Enzephalomyelitiden. Nach mRNA-Impfstoffen kann es in seltenen Fällen zu einer Myokarditis, einer Perikarditis oder zu Fazialisparesen kommen.
