Bedeutung der Knorpeltherapie in der Behandlung des FAIS

Ist eine spezifische Knorpeltherapie erforderlich oder reicht die Deformitätenkorrektur?

Zusammenfassung

Das Ziel der operativen Behandlung des Femoroazetabulären Impingement-Syndroms (FAIS) ist die Wiederherstellung der natürlichen anatomischen Beziehung zwischen Knochen, Labrum und Knorpel des Hüftgelenks. Die Studienlage zur regenerativen Knorpelchirurgie der Hüfte hinkt der am Kniegelenk derzeit noch deutlich hinterher. Die meisten knorpelchirurgischen Therapiekonzepte der Hüfte basieren auf wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen und Strategien, die für das Knie entwickelt wurden. Mehrere innovative Techniken wurden bereits am Hüftgelenk eingeführt und in der Literatur beschrieben. Derzeit besteht noch eine Informationslücke insbesondere bezüglich systematischer Übersichtsarbeiten in der Literatur mit evidenzbasierten Empfehlungen zur Behandlung von Knorpelverletzungen des Hüftgelenks. Ziel des Artikels ist es, die Behandlungsoptionen und die damit verbundenen Ergebnisse bei chondralen Verletzungen der Hüfte auf der Grundlage der verfügbaren Evidenz darzustellen, wobei neue und innovative Techniken hervorgehoben werden.
