Zusammenfassung

Das Femorazetabuläre Impingement-Syndrom (FAIS) beschreibt zwei verschiedene knochenmorphologische Veränderungen, die zu unterschiedlichen Schädigungsmustern am Labrum und am azetabulären Knorpel führen und die Entwicklung einer Arthrose begünstigen. Die Kombinationspathologie aus Cam- und Pincer-Deformität ist die am häufigsten vorkommende Variante. Zu unterscheiden davon sind charakteristische Veränderungen am chondrolabralen Komplex, die durch die Dysplasie hervorgerufen werden. Darüber hinaus hat auch die Femurtorsion einen Einfluss darauf, wie stark sich die Ausprägung der erstgenannten Veränderungen klinisch bemerkbar macht.
