Zusammenfassung

Fehlbildungen des Uterus scheinen die Implantation und die Plazentation zu erschweren und können somit eine mögliche Ursache für Infertilität sein. Zudem sind bei Frauen mit uterinen Anomalien häufig die Schwangerschaftsverläufe gestört, die Abortraten erhöht und Termingeburten seltener. Die Bedeutung dieser anatomischen Abweichungen für die Kinderwunschbehandlung veranschaulicht der nachfolgende Beitrag.
