» Editorial comment: Details of this case report have previously been published [see Reactions 1755 p155;803395834]. The authors state that the patient was found unresponsive outside his relative’s home. He had been receiving fluvoxamine 100mg pills. Autopsy showed hypertensive cardiovascular disease with cardiac hypertrophy and left ventricular hypertrophy. Cardiac hypertrophy was downgraded from reaction to concurrent condition on the basis of additional information provided in the full-text article; similarly all other autopsy findings were coded as concurrent conditions in the absence of causal relationship with fluvoxamine. …
