Rekonstruktionsmöglichkeiten nach Verletzungen der Kopf-Hals-Region

Zusammenfassung

Rekonstruktionen nach Verletzungen im Kopf-Hals-Bereich müssen nicht nur funktionellen, sondern auch ästhetischen Kriterien genügen, da bei der exponierten anatomischen Lage dieser Region eine soziale Stigmatisierung leicht die Folge einer Verletzung sein kann. Störungen der Symmetrie wie z. B. durch eine Schiefnase, einen Enophthalmus oder eine (Teil‑)Amputation der Ohrmuschel nimmt auch ein Laie unmittelbar wahr. Auf der anderen Seite stellen z. B. Einschränkungen der Nasenatmung und des Riechvermögens oder Doppelbilder deutliche Minderungen der Lebensqualität der Betroffenen dar. Für rekonstruktive Maßnahmen ergeben sich daraus hohe Anforderungen, beiden genannten Aspekten gerecht zu werden. Im Rahmen dieser Übersicht werden Verletzungen der äußeren Nase, des lateralen Mittelgesichts inkl. des Orbitabodens sowie der Ohrmuschel erörtert.
