Auszug

Funktionelle Bewegungsstörungen sind phänomenologisch vielfältig. Nicht selten treten verschiedene funktionelle Phänomene gleichzeitig auf. Die Diagnose wird anhand positiver klinischer Zeichen gestellt und erfordert meist keine ausführliche apparative Ausschlussdiagnostik. Die frühe Diagnosestellung ist ein entscheidender prognostischer Faktor. Therapeutisch ist ein multimodales Konzept aus physio-, ergo- und psychotherapeutischen Ansätzen empfehlenswert, wobei die Verfügbarkeit spezialisierter Zentren aktuell leider noch begrenzt ist.
