The UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has announced that two gadolinium-containing contrast agents, gadodiamide (Omniscan) and intravenous gadopentetic acid (Magnevist) will be removed from the market and use of some other agents in the same class will be restricted. Licenses for Omniscan and Magnevist will be suspended from from 1 February 2018, and the products will be recalled. …
