Gallbladder carcinoma is rare, with an incidence of 1.6–2.0/100,000 in Western Europe; however, it is the most common cancer of the biliary tract accounting for 80–95% of these cancers [13]. It is far more common in central Europe, Chile, India, Korea, and Japan. The incidence increases with age and it is more common in women. …
