33. Gallenblasenpolypen

Zusammenfassung

Gallenblasenpolypen sind Schleimhautvorwölbungen der Gallenblasenwand. Die meisten Gallenblasenpolypen verursachen keine Symptome, weshalb sie in der Regel Zufallsbefunde bei Ultraschalluntersuchungen oder nach Cholezystektomie sind. Der häufigste Gallenblasenpolyp ist der nicht neoplastische Cholesterolpolyp. Für die Entwicklung von Gallenblasenpolypen sind keine eindeutigen Risikofaktoren bekannt. Die konventionelle Abdomensonographie ist die einfachste Methode zur Detektion und Charakterisierung von polypoiden Gallenblasenläsionen. Bei symptomatischen Patienten sowie bei Risikopatienten (z. B. Polypengröße >10 mm, Alter >50 Jahre) ist eine Cholezystektomie indiziert. Kleine Polypen (<10 mm) sind meist gutartig und müssen nicht entfernt werden, Verlaufskontrollen sind aber angezeigt.
