The effects of glucocorticoids in old ewes were reported in this study[1]. Two groups of mature female sheep were studied. The first group was treated with a daily dose of 30 mg methylprednisone during the first 2 months and 15 mg during the last month. At the end of the experiment, the animals were killed and the iliac crest kept for bone histomorphometry. …
