Zusammenfassung

Das Spektrum der Lebererkrankungen nach einer Infektion mit hepatotropen Viren reicht von einem klinisch vollkommen blanden über einen cholestatischen Verlauf bis zum akuten Leberversagen. Die Erkrankungen sind selten und können teilweise durch eine zeitgerechte und adäquate Prävention oder postpartale Überwachung vermieden oder zumindest angemessen eingeschätzt werden. Die klassischen Hepatitisviren umfassen die Hepatitiden A bis E (Tab. 12.1). Darüber hinaus wurden in neuerer Zeit das Hepatitis-G-Virus und das TT-Virus charakterisiert. In Tab. 12.2 sind die in Europa relevanten hepatotropen Viren mit möglichem Krankheitswert dargestellt.
