Eine partikelbasierte Embolisation konnte in der französischen EMPROTECT-Studie die Rezidivrate nach cSDH-Eingriffen bei Risikopersonen nicht senken. Ganz eindeutig sind die Daten nach Auffassung des Studienteams allerdings nicht.

Schnellere Heilung mit intrakorporaler Darm-Anastomose

In einer Vergleichsstudie aus Erlangen hatte die intrakorporale Anastomose nach rechtsseitiger Hemikolektomie gegenüber dem herkömmlichen Vorgehen deutliche Vorteile: weniger Wundinfekte, weniger Schmerzen und eine schnellere Genesung.
