Zusammenfassung

In der Diagnostik neurovaskulärer Erkrankungen ergeben sich durch die rasche Weiterentwicklung der Bildgebungsmethoden und durch verbesserte Postprocessing-Algorithmen wegweisende Verbesserungen. So etwa ermöglicht die multimodale CT-Diagnostik beim akuten Schlaganfall die schnelle Identifizierung von Infarktkern und Penumbra sowie die arterielle CT-Angiografie die Ursachenabklärung und Planung potenzieller endovaskulärer Eingriffe.
