Zusammenfassung

Die Hüftkopfnekrose kann schon im jungen Alter zu einer sekundären Coxarthrose führen. Mithilfe der vorliegenden Arbeit soll die Diagnose im frühen Stadium erleichtert werden, in dem ein Gelenkerhalt beispielsweise mit der autologen Stammzelltransplantation noch möglich ist. Kurzschaftendoprothesen und neue Gleitpaarungen geben im Spätstadium Anlass zur Hoffnung auf funktionell gute Ergebnisse.
