2. Iatrogenes Fremdmaterial in der kranialen Bildgebung

Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel gibt einen Überblick über die radiologische Darstellung – Röntgen, MRT und CT – von in die Schädelkalotte und intrakraniell iatrogen eingebrachtem Fremdmaterial. Zunächst wird die Anatomie abgebildet mit Schädelkalotte, Gehirnstrukturen, Gefäßsystem. Welche Landmarken aufzusuchen sind, wird ebenso aufgezeigt wie in die Liquorräume und in das Gefäßsystem iatrogen eingebrachtes Fremdmaterial. Die radiologische Darstellung von Zugängen für Trepanationen, Kraniektomien und Schädeldachplastiken wird gezeigt sowie Katheter und Sonden, insbesondere Hirndrucksonden und sonstige Fremdkörper dargestellt. Intrakranielle Gefäßclips, Stents und Coils in der Bildgebung bilden einen weiteren Schwerpunkt. Liquorabflussstörungen führen zu verschiedenen CT- und MR-morphologisch nachweisbaren Veränderungen. Die Akutdiagnostik erfolgt i. d. R. mittels CT. Die Therapie besteht häufig in einer temporären oder bleibenden Drainage mit z. B. Shuntsystemen.
