A 52-year-old woman with a history of non-ischemic left ventricular dysfunction (EF of 40 %) was brought to the hospital for cardiac arrest. The patient was found at home in ventricular fibrillation and was shocked three times with return of spontaneous circulation. Mild hypokalemia (3.2 mEq/L) was the only contributing factor. …
