Chronic superficial venous insufficiency (CSVI) leads to symptoms such as bulging veins, skin changes, venous ulcers, and discomfort, often worse after prolonged sitting or standing. This condition is usually treated by ablation therapy on larger veins, confirmed by venous ultrasound. Sclerotherapy or ambulatory phlebectomy can also be performed on small tributary veins. However, some CSVI patients may have atypical symptoms. Here, the authors report two cases of injection sclerotherapy for the treatment of CSVI, with atypical symptoms featuring involuntary toe movements. …
