Zusammenfassung

Obwohl die Harninkontinenz im Alter häufig ist, findet sie auch heute noch zu wenig Beachtung und Betroffene sprechen ihr Leid nicht von sich aus offen an. Um die Erkrankung aufzuspüren und auch behandeln zu können, ist daher ein systematisches Screening bei älteren Menschen in der Hausarztpraxis notwendig.
