Auch im vergangenen Jahr ist wieder eine Vielzahl an Publikationen mit intensivmedizinischem Schwerpunkt erschienen, die es dem Einzelnen schwer machen, sich einen strukturierten Überblick über die neuesten Erkenntnisse zu verschaffen. Die Autoren möchten mit dieser subjektiven Auswahl aus ihrer Sicht relevanter Veröffentlichungen dazu beitragen, die neue Evidenz in kompakter Form einem breiten Anwenderfeld zugänglich zu machen und somit die Behandlungsqualität stetig zu verbessern (Tab. 1). …
