Zusammenfassung

Regionalanästhesien der oberen Extremität gehören mittlerweile zum Standardrepertoire eines klinisch tätigen Anästhesisten. Das korrekte Verfahren den individuellen Bedürfnissen des Patienten zuzuordnen wird durch die Vielfalt der Möglichkeiten immer schwieriger. Die grundsätzliche Verwendung von regionalanästhesiologischen Verfahren wird mittlerweile kaum noch in Frage gestellt, bedarf aber der dezidierten Güterabwägung und muss genau auf den vorliegenden Fall angepasst werden.
