With great interest, we read the recently published “CIRSE Standards of Practice on Portal Vein Embolization and Double Vein Embolization/Liver Venous Deprivation” [

We highly appreciate the authors’ efforts in conducting an extensive review of existing literature on portal vein embolization (PVE) and hepatic vein embolization (HVE), and providing an update of the CIRSE Standards of Practice (SOP) document with current insights.
