Mucoceles of the sphenoid sinus and especially of the anterior clinoid process can cause symptoms because of their close relation to cranial nerves. These are benign and rare entities [1‐4]. Sphenoid sinus mucoceles comprise 2–3 % of all paranasal sinus lesions [1]. …
