Dieses Konsensuspapier ist eine Stellungnahme der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Herz und Hirn der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kardiologie – Herz- und Kreislaufforschung e.V. (DGK) und der Deutschen Schlaganfallgesellschaft e.V. (DSG), die den gegenwärtigen Kenntnisstand wiedergibt und in der Schlaganfallversorgung tätigen Ärzten die Entscheidungsfindung bei der Indikationsstellung zur kardiologischen Diagnostik und Labordiagnostik erleichtern soll. Es werden Empfehlungen zu den Indikationsbereichen für gängige diagnostische Verfahren und Tests gegeben. Auf die Kennzeichnung des Evidenzgrads wird verzichtet, da in der Regel keine spezifischen randomisierten Studien existieren und es sich überwiegend um die Konsensusmeinung von Experten basierend auf kleinen Fallserien und klinischer Erfahrung handelt. …
