Kardiovaskuläre Komplikationen nach Nierentransplantation

Zusammenfassung

Kardiovaskuläre Erkrankungen stellen die führende Ursache für die Morbidität und die Mortalität nach Nierentransplantation dar. Der Tod durch ein kardiovaskuläres Ereignis ist der häufigste Grund für einen Transplantatverlust. Insbesondere die Herzinsuffizienz führt neben Infektionen am häufigsten zu Hospitalisierungen nach Transplantation. Ein suffizientes Eindämmen der klassischen und krankheitsspezifischen Risikofaktoren während der Zeit auf der Warteliste sowie eine sinnvolle regelmäßige kardiale Evaluation könnten die Anzahl an kardiovaskulären Ereignissen nach Nierentransplantation reduzieren. Hierbei sind insbesondere auch die klinische Symptomatik und die körperliche Belastbarkeit hervorzuheben, um eine stabile von einer aktiven kardialen Erkrankung zu differenzieren und die entsprechenden Maßnahmen zur Diagnostik und ggf. zur Intervention vor der Nierentransplantation einzuleiten. Dieser Artikel soll einen Überblick über Prävalenz und Risikofaktoren der kardiovaskulären Komplikationen nach Nierentransplantation geben sowie mögliche Präventionsstrategien beleuchten.
