Immunsuppression nach Keratoplastik

Zusammenfassung

Nach lamellärer und perforierender Keratoplastik werden glukokortikoidhaltige Augentropfen zur Immunsuppression eingesetzt. Häufige Medikamentennebenwirkungen sind Augendruckerhöhung und Katarakt. Alternative immunsuppressive Medikamente könnten eine Verringerung der Glukokortikoiddosis erlauben. Ein möglicher Wirkstoff ist das Antibiotikum Azithromycin, das im Zellkultur- und Tiermodell an der Hornhaut entzündungshemmend wirkt und die Transplantatabstoßung begrenzt.
