Zusammenfassung

Die katheterbasierte Ablation ventrikulärer Tachykardien (VT) wird mit zunehmender Häufigkeit im klinischen Alltag eingesetzt. Insbesondere bei idiopathischer VT sind die berichteten Erfolgsraten hoch. In großen randomisiert-kontrollierten Studien wie VANSIH zeigte sich die Katheterablation narbenassoziierter VT gegenüber der medikamentösen Therapie hinsichtlich der Mortalität überlegen. Die Behandlung an erfahrenen Ablationszentren ggf. unter Nutzung neuester elektroanatomischer Mapping-Techniken ist daher eine vielversprechende therapeutische Option bei diesen komplexen Patienten.
