Eine extreme Adipositas im Kindes- und Jugendalter zieht zahlreiche körperliche und seelische Auswirkungen nach sich. Lebensstiländerungen allein reichen meist nicht aus, um der überzähligen Kilos Herr zu werden. Chirurgische Interventionen wie der Schlauchmagen haben sich zur langfristigen Gewichtsreduktion bewährt und können so auch die Schwere bestehender Komorbiditäten verbessern. …
